Everything DUSC

Club Guide

The complete guide to everything you need to know about Dundee University Surf Club (DUSC)!

What is DUSC? 🌊

DUSC gives members access to the equipment and transport needed to get in the sea and catch some waves.

Members meet every Thursday evening (usually at the Braes @7pm) for socialising shenanigans, and throughout the year we also run yoga and sauna sessions, surf skate hangouts, movie nights, quizzes, potlucks and themed parties!

We head to local surf spots including St Andrews and Lunan Bay whenever there is swell, usually with more action through the winter, and we also have discounted Wednesday sessions at Lost Shore for those perfect waves.

Dundee University Surf Club is a place to surf, make friends and stay safe while having fun.

Our big trips 🚌🏄

October

Newquay & BUCS

We head to Newquay for the inter-university BUCS surfing competition, where we compete and party alongside university surf clubs from across the UK.

January

Winter surf trip

Every January we head somewhere with sun and good surf. Members get the chance to improve through external coaching, surf together and relax before term starts again.

March

Thurso

Some of our more advanced surfers head north to Thurso for a break from university life, rural Scotland and some of the best waves in the UK.
